Topic: 1/100,000,000th second photos of an atomic blast
Came across these thismorning, absolutely awesome photos. They look like they must have been taken in the 40s (since they haven't been doing above-ground tests for a very long time), though I wouldn't think they'd have had shutter speeds on cameras that quick back then. I particularly like the last one.

These were taken with a 10ft lens, at 1/100,000,000th second shutter speed from around 10km away.

How long do you think it will take Canon to come out with that model EOS anyway? :)
