| We'll begin todays post with a story, shall we? :)
We were expecting a delivery of servers at work later this week, but I was surprised thismorning when they arrived early.  The servers had additional parts to be added - DVD drives and second CPUs were contained within the box.  Then there was a third box, larger box, with... uhh... well, at first we thought someone packing the box had accidentally shipped their lunch to us:  Not so, the second box also came with the complete package - is this Sun's way of convincing techies to recommend their products and generate brand loyalty? :) Anyhow, once again, my desk is loaded with tech-toy goodness. Thisafternoon I was getting into setting up a nice new Cisco 2811 router, along with the two X2200s - there's also another gigabit switch there, and four Mac Minis off to the left of shot here, all of this to be used for a production environment in the very near future.  All good. |
